This policy describes what Permit Odds (permitodds.com, "the site") collects and how it is used. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed, and it describes what actually happens rather than everything that could.
What the site collects
Nothing about who you are. There are no accounts, no logins, and no forms that ask for your name or email.
Usage data the site records. When the page loads, when you press "Fetch Results", and when you open the odds calendar, the site records: the time; the zones, dates and group sizes you entered and the estimates it returned; which calendar you opened; your country and, where available, state or region, as reported by the network provider (your IP address itself is not recorded); the kind of device (phone, tablet or desktop), operating system family and browser family, derived from your browser's user-agent string, which itself is not stored; the address of the page that linked you here, without any query parameters; how long each estimate took; and whether a request failed.
To tell visits apart, the site stores two random identifiers in your browser's local storage: a visitor identifier, replaced after about 13 months, and a visit identifier that starts over after 30 minutes without activity. Neither is linked to your name, email address, IP address or any account. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes both.
This data is kept on the site's own server, is not sold or shared with any third party, and is used to see how the tool is used and to improve the estimates.
Server logs. Like every website, the site's hosting provider (Railway) and the network service in front of it (Cloudflare) keep short-term technical logs that include IP addresses. These are used for security and debugging and are not combined with the usage data above.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site sets no cookies of its own. It uses your browser's local storage only for the two identifiers described above.
Analytics
The site does not use third-party analytics. The only usage data is what is described above, which is stored on the site's own server.
How long data is kept
Usage data is kept so that year-over-year usage can be compared, and is not kept longer than that purpose needs. The identifiers in your browser are replaced on the schedule above, or removed when you clear this site's data.
Who can see it
The site owner. No data is sold. Data is shared only with the providers named above (hosting and network) to the extent needed for those services to work, and with authorities if legally required.
Your choices

- Email [email protected] to ask what, if anything, is associated with an identifier you provide, or to ask for it to be deleted.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change and the change will be noted here.
